THE YOUTH MINISTRY
We are a chosen Generation
The Youth of the church have passed through the mill of children’s Sunday school, a prerequisite of sound Christian Development.
Last year, a National Youth Camp Meeting was organized by church authorities for the Youth of all branches of the church at Winneba in the Central region of Ghana.
The theme was, “Go on to Maturity”. Many social and spiritual issues affecting the youth were addressed.
The General Overseer, Prophet Isaac Anto was the main speaker. He encouraged the Youth to grow up in the Lord Jesus Christ through active involvement in the things of Go. According to the man of God, such growth is made possible through the acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ as one’s personal Savior, reading the word of God, fasting, prayer and fellowship with the church and a desire to live a holy life, among many others.
The speech went down well with the youth who were convinced and have accepted to live right with God. In support vision of the youth leaders to help the youth identify their talents, sports competition was held. Many of the young people who excelled received prizes.
On the lighter side, there were various activities such as the coconut meeting, tea party and a “Kenkey” feast where everyone ate and drank to their satisfaction. There was also an interesting exchange of ideas on the topic, “Are make ups and hair attachments necessary for Christian women”?
The President of the Youth Ministry, Dansoman, Bro. Evans called on all the youth to take part in all activities of the tenth anniversary celebrations in order to make it a memorable occasion. Youth meetings are on Tuesdays. Meeting is 5:30 – 7:30pm.
Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shall say; I have no pleasure in them. (Ecc. 12:1)

Miss Bertha and Bro Dine, teachers of these children have attributed the success of this ministry to the support of the General Overseer, Elders, Patrons, Parents and all the Sunday School teachers who have left no stone unturned in order to achieve great results.
They have however appealed to all parents to bring in their children and wards early to church for successful Sunday Sessions.
